CNA Resume
I am currently seeking full time employment as a CNA. I received my certification in 2009. I love being able to help patients and their family even if it is a small way.
I am the type of person who always gives 110%, I never try to find the easy way out or cut corners just to get task done. I am a team player but I am also more than capable of working independently and unsupervised. Being a CNA is a very demanding job, but I have never had a day that I regretted my decision to become one.
In my opinion the good by far outweighs the bad. I could never see myself being happy and content in any other position!
WORK EXPERIENCE
C.N.A Independent Contractor
03/2011-Present, Loving Care In Home Services
I am currently PRN in this position. This is a home health agency. I enjoy the one on one time but I cannot afford the gas it is costing to just be PRN and I also need benefits.
C.N.A
02/2010-02/2011, Avante at Ocala, Ocala Florida
I worked the ventilator weaning unit from the first day it opened. I also provided care for the patients on the rehab as well as long term care units. I have experience with the Hoyer and the sit to stand and every other aspect of working as a C.N.A in a SNF.
C.N.A
10/2008-11/2009, Palm Garden, Ocala Florida
I worked on the rehab unit here. I had patients with a variety of illnesses at this facility therefore I provided different levels of care to each one of them. Some required full care such as bathing, toileting, dressing, feeding and transferring. Others were able to do for themselves and required very little.
Nursing Assistant/Secretary
01/2005-04/2008, Victoria Brymer, Anthony Florida (owner)
This was a private home that I worked in before I was certified. I helped to provide care for 6 to 7 full time residents. I scheduled appointments and set up transportation. I was required to be there all times of the day and night. This was just like nursing home care, but allot more personal and laid back. I really enjoyed the one on one care here though.
Office manager
02/2001-03/2005, Professional Transport, Ocala Florida,
I was hired as a driver picking up Medicaid patients and taking them to doctors' appointments. After one year I was promoted to secretary then office manager.
I was then responsible for preparing daily manifest for the drivers, scheduling pick-ups and dispatching.
